Fishing for walleyes will be east of Ludlows Resort as that is where the I spend the majority of my time walleye fishing. If you are west of Ludlows I will meet you at a central location on the lake., otherwise I will pick you up right at your dock!

$100 Deposit per day is required at time of booking.

What fishing technique do you use?
The main species I target on Lake Vermilion is walleye due to their abundance and great taste. However, it is quite common to catch perch, bass, northern pike and muskie while fishing for walleye. I can target these other species for a full day or as a change of pace if the walleye bite is slow.

The mainstay for Lake Vermilion is live bait rigging with a jig and minnow or lindy rig, but at times lead core trolling or bobbers can be the quickest way to provide a shore lunch.

I can guarantee that I will do everything in my power for you to catch fish and have a great time, but I cannot guarantee how the fish are feeling each day! But after decades of fishing on this lake, I know a million techniques and spots we will try.
