Fishing for walleyes will be east of Ludlows Resort as that is where the I spend the majority of my time walleye fishing. If you are west of Ludlows I will meet you at a central location on the lake., otherwise I will pick you up right at your dock!

The mainstay for Lake Vermilion is live bait rigging with a jig or lindy rig, but at times lead core trolling or slip bobbers can be the quickest way to provide a shore lunch. I will make sure we are doing the best technique to ensure the best results for a day on beautiful Lake Vermilion.

I can guarantee that I will do everything in my power for you to catch fish and have a great time, but I cannot guarantee how the fish are feeling each day! But after decades of fishing on this lake, I know a million techniques and spots we will try.
